Since 2007 the Centre is academic team member of the VLIR Gender Equity Porject at Moi University, see: http://www.mu.ac.ke/igerd/
"The project is housed in the Institute of Gender Equity and Research development, a unit under the office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor. The project focuses on the mainstreaming of gender at the University and the surrounding communities. The expected results of the project is the establishment of a centre of excellence in gender research and development at Moi University. The project is headed by Dr. W. Khamasi and Prof. M. Van Haegendoren."
