In the framework of the VNC-project "Itineraria: gender and mobility in the Burgandian Netherlands" three workshops took place:
* "Itineraria: mobiliteit en gender in de laat-middeleeuwse Nederlanden, reizende vrouwen in de Middeleeuwen: fictie en realiteit, I" (27 april 2001, KUBrussel)
* "Itineraria: gender en mobiliteit in de laat-middeleeuwse Nederlanden, een multidisciplinaire verkenning, II" (14 december 2001, Amersfoort)
* "Itineraria: gender en mobiliteit in de laat-middeleeuwse Nederlanden, een bronnenhandboek, III (6 juni 2003, Gent).
Congresses
In the framework of the bilateral project "The voice of silence-La voz del silencio" the workshop "Geletterde vrouwen en schriftcultuur // Femmes lettrées et culture écrite au Moyen Age" (Gent , 27 September 2001) and the closing congress "The Voice of Silence. Women, Literacy and Gender in the Low Countries and adjacent Rhineland (12th-15th century)" (Gent, 13-14 September 2002) took place.
Colloquia
The Centre for Gender Studies-UGent was involved in the organization of the colloquium "Van Nu en Straks als gangmaker. Vlaamse tijdschriften in het fin de siècle" that took place on 30 and 31 October 2003 in Gent (in cooperation with the dept. of Dutch Literature at UGent and the research unit Contemporary Cultural History at K.U.Leuven).
